Bio

Colin's interest in photography developed during his early 20's whilst making frequent visits to the Far East. He has since studied A Level Art & Photography and has travelled extensively throughout Asia specializing in documentary, social and humanitarian subjects. These have included the opium harvest in northern Laos, landmines and their affects on the Cambodian people and the tsunami in Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

Now working professionally, he uses predominately monochrome film and makes traditional silver prints in his darkroom at his home in Manningtree, Essex.

A selection of Colin's tsunami images were featured in the summer 2007 edition of AG magazine and more recently Colin was invited to become a member of Arena.
